The story
A place for women to be seen and heard.
The idea for Mature Allure began years ago with Alluring Looks, Sherri’s online beauty magazine. Her mother encouraged her to make room for beauty and lifestyle stories about mature women. That encouragement stayed with Sherri.
Later, two unexpected job losses within a month prompted her to think about age, opportunity, and the stories women are told about growing older. She drew on her experience as a writer and storyteller to build Mature Allure, a space for real questions, practical insight, and connection.
Today the podcast, blog, and digital channels bring together voices and perspectives on mental health, wellness, financial well-being, reinvention, and everyday life after 40.
Behind the mic
Sherri’s background shapes the conversation.
Sherri has more than 25 years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, and brand storytelling across beauty, media, travel, and insurance. Her work has included content for Holland America Line, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Atlantic American Corporation.
On Mature Allure, she uses that storytelling experience to ask considered questions and help guests share ideas that women can bring into their own lives.
